-
2025 Software Engineer Intern | Control & Behavior Simulation Team
Aurora Innovation, Pittsburgh, PA - Delivered test tooling adopted in production vehicle-level Verification & Validation pipelines for behavioral safety requirements.
- Developed a Synthetic Actor Injection Tool with C++ and Typescript which enables safe, repeatable simulation of perception outputs with kinetic and geometric consistency, directly unblocking a critical path for planner/controller validation.
- Built operator UI and backend modules via gRPC to simulate signals without physical actors, reducing test risk and complexity.
- Collaborated independently and cross-functionally with Controls, Perception, Planning, Simulation, and Test Engineering teams.
-
2022-2024 Research & Development Intern | Bing Maps Direction Services Team
Microsoft Research, Redmond, Washington, US (Remote from Taipei, Taiwan) - Standardized global map storing schema, enhancing data processing efficiency using AWS Athena and PySpark in collaboration with international colleagues in Overture Maps foundation (Github, Website)
- Engineered and maintained full-stack internal debugging tools, optimizing troubleshooting pipeline in routing services utilized by 10+ employees and managing thousands of weekly queries
-
2022 Research Engineer Intern
MobileDrive, Foxconn Technology Group, New Taipei, Taiwan - Engineered a full-stack annotation platform to support multi-tasking with multi-sensor datasets, improving data annotation efficiency from minutes to average 30 seconds per bounding box
- Implemented SOTA auto-labeling framework 3DAL for 3D object detection on Taiwanese road datasets
